Scott Fiene is assistant professor and oversees the undergraduate Integrated Marketing Communications program. He has more than two decades of corporate marketing communications experience, including roles as owner of a Des Moines, Iowa-based consulting firm and vice president of the global financial services company Principal Financial Group.
Fiene has taught marketing and sales courses at the collegiate level for more than 15 years. Before coming to Ole Miss in 2012, he taught in the College of Business at Drake University.
Fiene is faculty advisor for the Ole Miss chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), past president the Iowa chapter of AMA, a member of the Public Relations Association of Mississippi (PRAM) and has served on the board of the International Association of Business Communicators.
He majored in English and minored in journalism at the University of Iowa. He received his graduate degree in journalism and mass communications from Drake University, where his research was focused on integrated marketing communications.
